Spend the morning mucking around with us! We’ll explore the large and small stuff that lurks
beneath the pond scum.

Webbed Toes & Lizard Tales
Explore the world of reptiles and amphibians, learn about the annual toad migration, and then
meet some of our favorite herps!

What’s “Bugging” You?
Do you know the difference between a bug and an insect? How can you tell which is which?
Come out and have some “bug” fun!

Investigate the Nature Center grounds as we learn about wildlife in different habitats.

Dissect an owl pellet to discover what the owl ate. After our hard work, we’ll meet a real live pellet maker!

Rocket Science
