Volunteer & Board Member Service
Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory is a community-supported 501(c)(3) non-profit that relies on the service of its volunteers and Board Members.
Here at Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory we depend on the time and talents donated by our volunteers. Their effort allow us to continue the many programs and services we offer to our visitors. Volunteers do everything from help with construction projects, feed animals, give astronomy presentations, and help with rocketry classes and events. If you love nature, animals, astronomy, or rockets give us a call at (541) 593-4442, or stop by to speak with someone about volunteer opportunities.

Our board members serve by the mission statement - To inspire present and future generations to cherish and understand our natural world. In order to fulfill the mission statement, board members here at Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory (SNCO) play a vital role in providing direction for the organization as well as planning for the future. The board members also provide a valuable service to the community by their efforts in ensuring the services available here at SNCO will continue on for years to come. If serving the surrounding communities appeals to you, SNCO is always looking for experienced leaders to join our board. Please call (541) 593-4442 for information about joining our board and serving the central Oregon communities.
